Just a quick post about what is on my spindle today. I decided I wanted to experiment with spinning some plant fibers, so I purchased a few kinds to play with. This is the Lotus fiber. It is so beautiful. Beautiful, but a little tricky to spin. The fiber is very fine and silky. It was difficult to get it to join in at first, but I soon got the hang of it. I just made a small ball and then plied it just for a little sample yarn.

Other than a little time to spin this, I have had a busy and stressful day. I am thinking about turning in early with a good book. Some days are like that, you just want them to be over. Tomorrow is a new day, and we shall try again.
